February Meeting - Topic: Paddle Craft Safety/Swiftwater Rescue
The next River Valley Chapter meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 8th, at 6:30 pm at the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Station at 3802 Grand Avenue in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The topic for the meeting will be Paddle Craft Safety/Swiftwater Rescue. The club will be providing complimentary pizza and we will be watching a swiftwater rescue DVD. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, we will also be showing a ten minute, local, homegrown, whitewater kayaking video featuring Nick Hobbs and several other area paddlers cutting up the water. It's shaping up to be a fun filled evening. You definitely won't want to miss this one! See you there!

Re: River Valley Chapter - February Meeting
***REMINDER*** I just wanted to remind folks to mark their calendars for the ACC-River Valley meeting coming on Tuesday, February 8th at 6:30pm. The meeting will be at the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Station located at 3802 Grand Ave. in Fort Smith, AR. Also, I wanted to pass along that adult beverages have been approved at the meeting.
So, feel free to bring your favorite beverage to the meeting. See you there!!!

Re: River Valley Chapter - February Meeting
You mean "THE" NICK HOBBS, the ONE and ONLY.
Man we better get the Convention Center! I can't wait! I've heard some Tall Tales about that Critter! Someone finally caught him huh. We better hope it doesn't rain that day, I heard he can vanish in the blink of an Eye. Should be a great meeting. I'll bring the other video and some safety gear for demonstration too if we want to and/or have the room.
See ya there,

See ya there,

Re: River Valley Chapter - February Meeting
I just want to let folks know that the ACC-RV February Meeting is still on for tomorrow (Tuesday). God willing and the creek don't rise, hopefully things will stay safe long enough for us to have our meeting. I'm crossing my fingers.
