Merrimack Canoes
Does anyone have any experience with Merrimack Canoes....Particularly the BABOOSIC model? They seem to be very well made, form the reviews seem to be pretty good. I would rather rely on my good friends here!! Thanks!

Re: Merrimack Canoes
Hi!!!
I've had one for a year and it is a thing of beauty and SOOOOOO graceful to paddle. Shoulder problems have kept me from paddling much, but you can lean it until the gunwales dip, regain center, turn incredibly, but go dead on straight with attention to technique. A solo "prospector". I'll try to write more Monday, but if you can get to Shreveport you can certainly paddle mine.
I consider it a flatwater boat, great for perfecting strokes and paddling for the LOVE OF PADDLING. Such a classic design.
