OT-Birding Opportunity--FYI

The following is copied from an e-mail I received from AR Birders listserv.....just an FYI for anyone interested.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Grace Sorensen and I currently work for the Hot
Springs National Park. We have decided to start a Christmas Bird Count
here in the Hot Springs Area. The circle will be called Hot Springs
Circle, but the Hot Springs National Park will be hosting the event. We
have chosen December 16 as our CBC day. This is our first time having a
CBC here since 1970-71, and we could really use some volunteers! Only five
people are for sure volunteering to help us so far. We will be providing
some free foods for the event located at the Lamar Bathhouse downtown Hot
Springs off Bathhouse Row from 7 am until 5 PM. If you are not a bird
expert, that is fine, we will be pairing less experienced birders up with
more experienced birders. Please let people know about this and have them
