What kind of helmet cam do you have? What do you like/dislike about it? I'm shopping and need info. Thanks a bunch.

I am way behind with any type of video techniques, only recently did a fellow paddler-friend even show me that my camera had more than still-picture capability  From my experiences paddling over the years, I feel like my head probably moves around way too much to produce as smooth a cinematic production as I would wish for. I do think helmet-cam productions can be good, ref. Mike Coogan, for example, who is practiced enough to make some good films. For the time being, I must eddy-out, ground my boat, and then view the scene at 'arms-length, 'thanks Mr. Bi-Focals'... and try and catch the action as best I can :)

Best Regards

I'm about to buy a GoPro HD Helmet Hero. GoPro sells a really good camera in a few different packages depending on what sports you're participating in. For example, the HD Surf Hero would come with mounts that work best on a surf board, and the Helmet Hero would come with different mounts for a helmet. The underwater video quality looks pretty good from what I've seen.

Thanks. My GoPro came in the mail Friday. I'm getting ready to put it to use if I can figure it out. Instructions are scanty. Camera looks good, tho.
