Looks like a 70 degree, sunshine SATURDAY on Richland is in store. Cossatot will be good for the weekend, too.
Oh wait, I forgot, I can't get off from work this weekend...

I'm working an outage too. I could probably get off, but I have a broken finger from last weekend.

For what its worth, it wasn't any fun on Richland Saturday. No good friends, no sunny weather, no double runs, no fun at all.

A group of three of us put on Falling Water Creek Saturday morning at about 9 AM. We went about as far as you can go with the road being blocked--to a point about 3/4 of a mile below Six Fingers. Richland gauge read 4.1 when we got on and 3.66 when we got off. The weather was really nice. I think Falling Water is a run that gets harder when the level is lower (because of midstream rocks that aren't an issue when the water is deeper), however, at that lower level there were an abundance of surfing possibilities. There were enough places to surf that it took us 4 hours to get down to the truck--not too bad!
Here are two of us running the falls when the gauge read 3.66. Pretty fun!
