It was a beautiful day on the Mulberry. I paddled from Big Eddy to Campbells. The eagles were out enjoying it as well, I counted 7 or 8 at Face Rock and saw them all day along the river (possibly the same one). All in all, I couldn't ask for a much better day for the last day of January.

At lower levels between 2.5 to 3.5 on Turner Bend's gauge Hamns falls is a pretty good surfing spot, and yeah at a lower level i would have to say Hamns is better than Whoop & Holler, but at higher levels I would go to Whoop & Holler. Hamns is located about nine and a half river miles downstream ...
