that's looking like day trips?... i was thinking more of a 3 day/ holiday event, you know! 4 nights and 3 days of fun in the sun. a little

and some

and a whole lot of

going on.. .. no thunder, and flash flooding this time!

maybe a cool run down the whiteriver with trout dinners?, or the wilderness of the buffalo , maybe the 11 point, or what else sparks any floating idea's

Boy if I wasn't moving this weekend, I would be all over a float trip. It has been far too long since I was on the water.

Painter Bob! I hope Mike Beebe doesn't see your offer ... he will be all over that, with Richard too!
Maybe you should come down our way and see our bluffs!!! How about it, you can camp on the river here too .... may not be as exciting as the last float trip, with all the dramatic outdoor effects, but surprisingly beautiful as up your way!
Come on down!

I'm going to paddle Dragover/Caddo/Little Mo area on Labor Day Monday, whichever is the best --looking like Dragover without some rain-- and will follow the thread to see if any are interested. Had a marvelous trip on Little Mo Saturday.

I have a place for that bus, and anyone wanting to test those tents they advertise will stand through winds on the ledge of a cliff, is welcome to bring it on ... my house sits on the ledge of a cliff. If the weather turns bad, and those high altitude, windproof tents get wet, you can come inside. The house is all glass and it's like camping outside but with heat and ac!!!!
And:
Don't worry about the neighbors, the only ones I have are the four legged kind. I've had one mountain lion and several coyotees. I think they have moved on though, so come on! Right now I have turtles and they will come after you. They like bananas, so bring some or they won't leave you alone! And, even though Chester's thread shows him giving his four legged friends beer, you can't share the beer with my four legged friends. I don't want to hear them rolling down the hill.
And, if it rains hard, the creek that runs below my house has a great play hole, right at the end of the city drainage ditch, but it is just rain runoff, but looks to be challenging ....
See you Friday Painter Bob!!!!
oh, I did look at a tent today, thought about it and decided to think about it another time!!!! I think I'm more of a car camper!!!
See you soon! You really should come down our way! We're coming to see you this Fall.

Central AR! I saw some great camping places around Dragover. It's close to Mountain Harbour!
OR .... I saw a house the entire Canoe Club could pitch in and buy .. on the LIL MO .... about 5 minutes from the Dam .... wrap around deck is over the water ... it's still being built. We could all pitch in and I could camp on the deck and everyone else could sleep under their canoes!!!! It's only $250,000! Trevor could do his seal launches off the deck as many times as he wants ....
We have lots of camping places down here ... and lots of fun rivers.
I am hoping to paddle twice this long weekend. A few are ready to go with me but I'm waiting another day to see water levels! I'm personally hoping to do the Lil MO (but not if it's as high as last weekend when someone got caught in the hydrolics), or Dragover ... if all else fails, we can always float down to Rockport, then body surf over the ledge a few times .... you coming down here Richard? If you do, please pick Painter Bob up as well! And, don't forget Rendevous!!!!
Seems we have one person / vote that may want to float Monday on the Lil MO! Hopefully more will speak up when we hear the water levels.
