Re: Left Behind - Labor Day Float @ Dragover
Great ... sounds like several canoe club members will be there! We will be in Jim's green truck. 10:30 am at Dragover!
Bring plenty to drink and eat!
my phone number is (501) 804-4110 if anyone needs to call about meeting place.
Drive Carefully and see you on the river! First one there gets to put their boat at the top and catch a ride down the rails to the river put-in!

It was so great to get to paddle with ya'll Monday & meet everyone!!
Thanks to Jim for leading us down the river, to Marlo, Mike, Jim and Susan for letting me try your boats, and to Scoutdad and Tyler for their company. Everyone encouraged and included my guest Michael in the trip that he is hooked on paddling and wants to become an ACC member and attend Rendezvous.
Every ACC member I've ever met is welcoming, shares experience (and boats), and are inclusive to everyone. You really are all THE BEST!!

Thanks to Susan, Jim and Marlo for setting this up. Being on the water on a Labor Day couldn't have been better. Water was perfect. It also was fun and rewarding to meet people like Scoutdad and Tyler, Louis and Mike, Beth and Dave. Hope to paddle again soon with you all. See you at Rendezvous and thanks for adding the finishing touches to a perfect day.

Re: Left Behind - Labor Day Float @ Dragover
well, from the looks of it you all had a good time , sorry i missed it . i ended up just doing the old buffalo, and it was so low the bottom of my red canoe is scuff white now! but the fish didn't care. i ended up paddling about 18 miles. the first two were pretty good, caught lots of small mouth bass. 4 over 18 inches and about 60 to 70 ,8 to 14 inch fish . never saw anyone else the whole time i was out. the fog on the river was thick and wet, and lasted until 10 am all three days on the river. day 4 was head wind all day long so my fishing suffered as bad as my canoe did ....
... sorry. wally, and mike. i took off before you posted! but . hey it looks like susan did a mighty fine job as trip leader!
