water in August

Post by debmoore » Wed Aug 20, 2008 5:15 pm

Drove up to Treat to see what's up...Indian and Mocassin Creeks were both running, especially for August. Indian was about 1.5 feet below the bridge. Piney was low but it was running at Helton's. Not enough to get down it yet, but even Dry Fork was running. Hopefully Piney will be floatable by tomorrow.

The Piney just made its move, up to 1.9 feet. Could be a run by tomorrow AM. More rain expected... Keep watching that gauge.
