Visual on Lee Creek Sunday at 10am

Post by Jonna H » Sun Aug 10, 2008 10:18 am

Fish called to say that Lee Creek is five and a half feet and he thinks its still coming up. He's putting on and Bob and some of us will be heading out shortly.

Any chance someone from the Little Rock area could arrive there in time to make a run with someone? I know it's in the western part of the state, but I've never been there.

Once again, Baron Fork gauge is the early warning for Lee Cr. We got there this morning about 10:00 and it was low but rising. By the time we hit the surfing ledges, it was at a good level for play. Probably peaked around 6 feet while were there, but it was raining on us, so could even go a bit higher. Sure didn't look like it was dropping out - ought to be good to go 'till dark. Great play, though the water was a bit chunky - flushed all the farms out I'm sure. :)

Paddle it while we got it!
