Float Trip

Post by kcgor » Sat Aug 09, 2008 4:26 pm

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a nice river to float down this weekend. I know most of the rivers are low at this time of the year, but are there any that have good water and nice scenery?

Thanks

Casey

If you are in Central AR, you should join us on the Sunday, Aug. 10th Remmel to Rockport float. No white water, but a beautiful float, ending at Rockport where all the kayaks play! Read the post for the float trip under Rec. Touring board.

what is your geographic location ? I'm in NWA and we've apparently got some options today.

I'm gimped up but may still go out in the buffalo - my other boat that even a gimp can float.

Lee Creek has had a lot of rain and is likely good to go. If your in NWA or somewhat close you should go to Lee or sumthin.
