Roll session 7/30

Post by wdwlodge » Sun Jul 27, 2008 5:23 pm

New to the sport and was planning on going to pool session at UALR. Is the session on 7/30 firm? What time does it start/end? Are helmets required? Will there be any helpful folks there to point a newbee in the right direction down the road to proper rolling technique?

Thanks!!

1) >95%, but Joe usually posts the day before to give final confirmation
2) 5 / 6:45 (out of building by 7)
3) No, but some of us wear them anyway for various reasons. Many do not. Totally up to you.
4) Yes.

I think I can vouch for another three to five percent. Time is right on. Their ought to be a few paddlers there. Never know how much extra gear will be there. If I'm there you will probably need a helmet! Ha!

Best thing to do would be to just mail in the application; form here:
http://www.arkansascanoeclub.com/app.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you say it is in the mail, nobody is going to demand "proof".
