UALR POOL SESSIONS ( WEDNESDAYS ONLY THRU SUMMER )(not true)

This weeks UALR wednesday pool session ( May 7th ) is on schedule...

HOWEVER:

Remember that wednesdays sessions are now from 5 pm until 7 pm.

The divers will possibly be diving until about 5:30 some nights...
if this is the case, please stay on the shallow end of the pool...or at the side of the deep end AWAY from the diving boards!

Is the UALR pool session happening this Saturday (Jan 31, 2009)? I want to start kayaking, and was told this was a good place to start....

Yes, the pool is closed this Saturday for a swim meet. Three out of four February dates will also be closed due to swim meets. I'm sorry I don't know right off hand which Saturday is going to be available. Wednesdays are still good to go however. I will post the one day we will have Saturday access soon.

L2F, You have a boat? I have a couple four or five at the pool. The only downside is they are outfitted for me and my 32in, waist. If your not to much over six foot and 34in. waist or so, you might could fit into one or two of mine. I only bring spray skirts for the day and boat I'm using. Let me know if your coming and your waist size and I will try to have one which might fit you.
Wednesday nights are from six till eight till end of semester.

I edited the title of this thread to help avoid confusion. Some of the recent posts have brought this thread "to the top", BUT THE ORIGINAL ANNOUNCEMENT of "Wednesdays only" and "5 to 7" is LAST SEASON'S news and time, originally posted in early May 2008. Please stay tuned to Joe's weekly updates. As of right now, Jan 29, 2009, the Wednesday night time remains 6 PM to 8 PM.
