Extrasport Pro Creeker Rescue PFD

I tried one on at NOC and really liked the features and fit. Anyone used one of these in real or practice rescue situations?

I've been in a Pro Creeker for the last few years and I really don't like them.

My only real complaint is the metal cinching buckles on the retro-glide. they loosen up very easily and quickly after I start paddling.

I just bought an Astral.

I know that a lot of people really like the Pro Creeker though so take my words with a grain of salt.

Based on 3 different Extrasports that I've owned, I'm done with Extrasport.

I've worn a Pro Creeker for a couple of years now. I wore it through an advanced SWR class last spring and had no complaints with the way it performed. I've never had to use the QRHS in a real rescue on the river, but the times I've used it in SWR classes it has performed fine.

Like Randy said the metal buckles do loosen a little bit, but mine don't drift too much over the course of a full day. If I cinch up tight in the morning, they're still pretty tight when I get off the water.

As with any gear review, your mileage may vary.
