Got a chance to buy a Juice from a shop in Pa. ( I know the owner). Saw the boat it has some scrathes on it but he said its in excellent shape. He told me it was already outfitted and is gonna give me a package deal. I test drove in in a little creek by the store and it felt comfortable. Its gonna be my first kayak. Any thoughts, complaints, or general knowledge on this kayak would be GREATLY appreciated ! Thanks for helping out a rookie. Paul

If you like short boats, the Juice (my opinion, is a good river running choice).
I am more of old school designs, but had a Juice for about a year and it was a lot of fun. I just like more bow and stern length to work with.

That was my first boat as a playboat/river runner! I loved it and only sold it to get a shorter boat that was more playful. You will really like it. I believe Michele Jackson still has hers and really likes it. We both had Eskimo Kendos and made the switch to a Juice. I don't know about taking it on real steep creeks, but I ran the Ocoee, Norrell Spillway, Lower Richland and many other Class III creeks/rivers in mine.

I've had my Juice for 3-4 years and still really like it. It's a very friendly boat, easy to roll, a good river runner, but surfs well also. Three years ago it was a pretty "short" boat. By today's standards, i.e. the Jackson Fun series (also considered river runners), it's not all that short.
