10' Buffalo Canoe Question

Are any of you open boaters out there familiar with the smallest Buffalo model (link below)? I wouldn't use it for whitewater, obviously, just for overnight trips on the Buffalo River, Elevenpoint, etc.

I like the small size and weight (about like the Prijon Chopper kayak I now use for overnighters) but wonder how it paddles and how slow it might be.

Bob Price, lawyer listed in Little Rock, has two he has kept on top of his truck at all times for the last few years. He would probably be happy to visit with you about the pros & cons of the little boats. He and his bride paddle mostly on the Buffalo.

in short boats .... a camp load, is a butload . i have a short discovery and it's hard to keep-up with the group!... have you test paddled one, i think they rent them over on the current river/ or maybe jacksfork

I'm trying to put together a session for Rendezvous to compare a whitewater canoe vs gentle water/fishing/camping canoes.

right now looks like we will have a least two, lightweight 14 canoes that we really like for fishing and camping.
