Arkansas Canoe Club Forums

The ACC Faq page mentions a School of Recreational Paddling, but I can't find any other reference to it. Is this course ever offered? If not, how can I find some beginner instruction? I have some very limited lifetime experience with canoeing and kayaking, but I have never had any formal training. I would like to get involved, but I don't know where to start.

The school of river paddling is held every year in June https://arkansascanoeclub.com/School-of-River-Paddling
Your local chapter may have smaller events planned sooner though.
