Illinois Bayou Access BELOW Hwy 7

Well, this is my second shot at this because I have still not been able to locate ANYTHING.
I would really like to fish on the Illinois Bayou north of the dam but south of the Hwy 7 bridge. I don't really want to put in at the bridge and go all the way down, cuz...well...that's a long paddle back.
Does anyone know of a spot I can slide in halfway or so down? Everything at Huckleberry is blocked and posted. I used to know a guy with a pig farm that he let me cross but he's gone. One spot along the power lines just below Huckleberry, the owner decided not to allow anyone access their either.
It's a drag having to go all the way back up from the dam to 7, really...
Any ideas would be great!
