Illinois bayou

Does anybody know where too put in at on the Illinois bayou near Hector I wanna do a float in my new kyack im just not familiar with the area
You might be able to get down with some scraping if you put it in at the first bridge north of Hector and float down to the Scottsville bridge located north of Scottsville on Hwy 164. It's mostly flatwater and you will do a lot of paddling since the current will minimal. Fishing will help pass the time.
I would get a visual of the water at the take-out before putting on.
