Kids kayak clinic February 17th

This will be held at the Jones Center in Springdale Friday February 17th , 2017
Welcome to the first kayak clinic your child should take. This clinic is fun & very reinsuring for kids. By the end of this clinic your child will be very comfortable in their kayak, flipping it over , self rescue , turning the kayak back over in deep water & re-entering their kayak by themselves. After the last clinic, it became one of the favorites with the kids. This builds safety for the kids, balance, understanding & most importantly reduces fear so they can have fun while learning new paddling skills in the future. This will offer your child a great opportunity to build a healthy active outdoor lifestyle .
Warning your kids will always be wanting to go kayaking! This brings up a very important part of this clinic. The last 30 minutes one of the instructors will pull all the parents together & give a brief safety meeting them. This will go over a lot of what the parents should know to keep their children safe while paddling.
