Wetland Tour #2 H Lake Lower White River NWR 11/27/16
H Lake is a very cool place and about as far from civilization as you can get in the central US. The paddle is a loop paddle around the lower part of the H and the distance is about four miles. Depending on how low the water has gotten, there may be one portage. No shuttle is required. Weather is predicted to be in the sixties and mostly sunny.
Bring lunch.
If there is time and interest, we could take a short hike to the state record cypress tree that is nearby.
We plan to meet at the Ethel general store at 10:30am, Sunday morning
