I don't know how others may feel, but this is heartbreaking.

As Curtis posted this is both heartbreaking and scary.

We can only hope the new owners treat this facility with the respect it deserves.

Way back when. I remember calling from Tulsa to speak with 'Champ' for a discussion on river levels and what was going on. He was our online river gage in those days.

Current owners have treated the facility and us boaters with kindness and respect. I cannot count the times I have met up in the parking lot to run the Mulberry, enjoyed awesome tasting hand built to order sandwiches, a cold beverage on the porch and often times camped on the property. Not to mention the gear purchases made when something either left at home or broke.

This facility is for sure a boating treasure for the entire boating community. Lets hope whomever takes charge keeps the traditions going.
