Liquid Logic XP handle replacement

After years of hauling, my XP 9 front strap handle has broken. LL does sell a replacement; however, I would prefer an aluminum or composite replacement. I am not opposed to building my own, but I was hoping I could find a supplier so as not to have to start from scratch. Any thoughts?

Lloyd with WPC replaced his with the same metal pieces they use for the recovery point.
