It was a great day on the Upper Ouachita today! There were ten in our group and after putting in around noon, we had plenty of time to spend on the river. We put-in just upstream from the Dragover Camp Ground and we were treated to seeing two or three Bald Eagles circling overhead in the first little bit. Many years at this time, the water temperature is as warm as bath water, but today it was cooler and just right. It was also at a good floating level, and even the building thunderstorms in the area later in the day never affected us. Thanks to everyone for your company, shuttles, and help hauling-out at River Bluff, it was just a delight!
Best Regards
Jim
