PlayBoating Spray Skirt?

I just got a 2011 Jackson Rockstar Medium. I'll mostly be play boating but also taking the boat down river some so I want my skirt to be able to handle it. I really like the Immersion Research skirts I've seen. I'm looking at their Shockwave model which is bungee. Also looking at one of their older Lucky Charm and it is the rand style. Just curious if I'm overthinking this or what? Any help would be great. Also I've been checking the cockpit circumference online, I'm guessing it's for the 2016 model. Would it be the same or has it changed since 2011? Thanks
