Hi Everyone,
This coming weekend, Saturday July 2nd, there will be a group of paddlers/kayakers floating on the Buffalo. This is a fun protest float-designed to call awareness to the challenges of maintaining good water quality throughout the Buffalo National River. This will be our 3rd year where we decorate our kayaks/canoes with logos, flags, etc. to meet folks along the river and let them know about the threats from big-agriculture runoff (C&H hog farm), leaking septic tanks, poor trash and waste ethics of tourists, etc. that result in a degraded stream.

We have a fun time singing songs and enjoying the river. If interested, please joins us at Grinder's Ferry (Hwy 65 bridge) at 9:00 on Saturday, July 2nd. Please bring your boat, plenty of water, a lunch, good attitude and enthusiusm! Decorations for your boat will be available and we will work out the shuttles when you arrive.

Hope to see you there!
