My wife (Piddle Paddle), our youngest daughter, a couple friends, our trusty yellow lab (Blonde) and myself all made a mourning run on the Illinois River. We put in at Chambers Springs road at 9:00 am and took out at the Siloam Springs Kayak park. I believe it is an aprox 8 mile run. We were the only people on the water. It sprinkled all day with a couple heavy showers thrown in. We were all cold and wet but still had a great time. We all saw the storm moving thru on radar before we left home but thought it would dissipate. It did not.....
Probably going out next weekend too but not sure where. Any suggestions?
