Paddling Vets: Opportunity in the works

I have been asked by a friend, who is a veteran and a paddler, to attend a planning session in Little Rock next week regarding recreation as therapy to represent the paddling community. Wondering if there are some veterans who also paddle (canoe, kayak, SUP, raft) that could/would attend as well. I am not a veteran by the way.

All I know so far is that the meeting is at 3pm, April 5, at the State Capitol complex. The goal is to get several private entities offering services and opportunities to veterans on the same page to coordinate their efforts. More details to come.
