Garmin buys DeLorme

I am a big fan of both companies.

Sure hope they do not do away with all the DeLorme paper maps and atlas products.

I had the opportunity to shop in their store in Yarmouth Maine. If you are in the area any time soon, worth a visit just to see all the map products there.

My hand held Garmin GPS is getting old by tech standards but still gets the job done well on river trips. Thanks to Cowper for recommending it many years ago. I hope Garmin comes out with a reasonably priced hand held GPS with the In-Reach technology included.
