Caddo River 2 March Wednesday

Will be at the take out at 1100 to set shuttle.The river is at 6 feet and it has rained over an inch so the flow should be good.

Hey Robert,
There are several sections of the upper Caddo that we float ranging from Norman, downstream to Amity or below. If the water level is good, we most often float the 7 1/2 mile section from 'The Narrows' to Glenwood. Sometimes we add another two miles to this trip if the water permits and put in at 'The swinging Bridge' at Caddo Gap.

I don't know the river looking for a place to play,, what landmarks / roads are near by

http://southwestpaddler.com/docs/ouachita8.html This sums up the Caddo pretty well. If it's running someone will post a trip. Another good place for you to play is the Ouachita, which is running right now. The Dragover run is pretty fun.
