A.L.F. 2016

So any of you other Open Boaters headed east in March for Louie fest? I've got the urge but not sure yet if I can move enough mountains to make it happen. Any thought or advice from those that have been?

I have already talked to Colin Moneypenny and put my name in to be on the contact sheet. This is important as this allows people you meet and paddle with during the week to talk about who is going where and when. alfcontactlist@gmail.com> Alf is a blast, you meet open boaters from all over the U.S. and about 25% of the participants are Canadians. You will want to stay near Lenoir City or the Sweetwater K.O.A campground. This will help you to stay in touch with whats going on. The 2 major events are the Telco race held on the first Sunday and Louie's annual birthday dinner held on Monday night. I hope this helps and that you'll be able to attend. BOB
