Saline River, Dierks Wednesday Febuary 10

The Saline has been running for weeks and only a very few are taking advantage. So I invite any who can make it to join us for a 5 mile class II-III river that is actually running. We are meeting at the Horseshoe Bend Campground at 1 p.m. I hope some will be able to join us. BOB

We had no regrets about todays paddle. Temps were in the mid 50's and the water continues to flow from the dam. Stuart Nolan stopped by the Horseshoe Bend Campground to have a look at the man-made rapids in the park. He said that he had mot been there since they had been built. Our trip downriver was uneventful and a hour and a half later we were taking out at the U.S. 70 bridge. If the water stays on I'll run another trip next week. BOB
