I know not everyone is on Facebook, so some of you may not have heard: We lost another good man yesterday.
I don't know the details, but Hal was out hiking waterfalls with friends when he slipped and fell 60 feet.
He will be sorely missed.
My condolences to Cheyenne and the others closest to him.

Breaks my heart. Prayers for his family. While our paths crossed only a few times, we had more "conversations" on here, Facebook and emails than I could count. His passion for the beauty of this earth. Love for family. Beyond measure.

Had no idea Harry Smith was Hal.
God's Speed Red.
Looking like the RBF reunion will be celestial.

George is right. The RBF campsite at the divine equivalent of Turner Bend is filling up fast. Too fast. RIP Hal - one of the good guys.
