Little Missouri River Thursday October 22nd

I looked for a posting all weekend but none came. Today Mitch called and said that it was releasing 4 days this week. So e are headed there tomorrow. Thursdays release will begin at 2 p.m. so we are meeting at 1:30 p.m. at Riverside Park. The park is located on Highway 19 north of Murfreesboro. Sorry for the short notice. BOB

Once again temps in the middle 80's and the water released on time. Five of us braved the waters of the Little Mo. We encountered our first alligator on the little Mo today. It was about 12 inches long, Grant must be given the credit for its capture. Shortly after the gator capture I decided the it was still warm enough to go swimming. So I took a swim while surfing my favorite wave. A good time was had by all. A long discussion was had about paddling next week. We'll have to see where the rain falls and how much. BOB P.S. The gator was plastic.
