Spring River Shuttle Question

Missouri Whitewater guy here. My wife and I are going to the Missouri - Ark State football game in Jonesboro on Saturday. My wife is a new paddler so I am taking her to the Spring River Sunday. I have paddled it many times, but she has never been there. It's been a while, but we used to paddle from the dam to Spring River Oaks most of the time.
Since it's not likely we will have a shuttle, is using Spring River Oaks for a shuttle to the put in and floating back to their place the way to go? Or is there a better option you guys would suggest?
Thanks,

Steve,
Yes, do check-in with the folks at Spring River Oaks if you are wanting to float from dam#3 down to their place. They should still be operating until the first week of October when all the outfitters up there close for the season. I would want to have them shuttle me upstream so I could float back to their place, and my vehicle

It shouldn't be any problem, but you might also give them a call to confirm things prior just to make certain. If there should be any problems, do check in with Riverside Resort as an alternate. Riverside can also offer about the same section to shuttle you on.
Best Regards
Jim

Thanks for your reply Jim. I had already called Spring River Oaks and they could provide shuttle. They dropped off the two of us and drove my truck down to their take out. We basically had the whole river and every little surf wave to ourselves on an absolutely gorgeous day! Not even any sign of life at saddler falls.

Steve,
That sounds great, I'm very glad everything worked-out on the shuttle, and that you all had a good time on the river!
After floating the last forty years, I have noticed the instant solitude each year after Labor Day, the weather can be just perfect for months afterward, but with hunting and football season starting shortly afterward, the river is always mine
I'm not sure where you all live, but if it is handy enough to central Ark., please consider joining us on the Caddo River early next year when it's flowing again.
Best Regards
Jim
