SOLD!! 12' Star Lightening Bug, Rowing Frame & Oars

SOLD!! Purty pink 12' Star Lightening Bug, rowing frame and oars, $1,150
This raft was Bobby Stouts'. He bought it new and it is in good shape. He rowed it several years before he swam from it at Velvet on the Middle Fork and we rolled it up and he became a passenger the rest of the trip. It has 24" tubes and a bunch of rocker, which makes it row like a cat. The floor is hung mid-way on the tubes, which makes it truly self-bailing and very nimble! I watched Bobby row it on the Yampa and the Salt and he did well on both at fairly serious levels:) I did row it through Warm Springs for him at 14,500 cfs and it was all I needed! The frame comes with a low-seat and with oar-locks. Two 8' Cataract oars complete the deal. Crane The raft has SOLD!!

That is a great boat. I was fortunate to float with Bob on the Upper Caddo and Cadron for several floats over the years and I know he had this raft along on at least one or more occasions later on, when he wasn't 'naturally' paddling his canoe otherwise :D .

Best Regards
Jim
