Instruction at UALR pool Saturday, Sept 12th

Anyone planning to go out to the UALR pool this Saturday, September 12th? My 14-year-old son and I bought kayaks this spring, and I am planning to take him out to the pool Saturday to teach him some stroke basics, and how to roll. It's his first time. And I haven't been in a boat in 25 years! So I suspect there are many people more qualified than me to teach him how to roll. No need to make a special trip, but if anyone is planning to be out there this weekend, let me know when, and we will try and show up around the same time. He's just started 9th grade, so I suspect we will both be active ACC members for at least the next four years, and hopefully many more years to come after that.

Thanks in advance!

- Russ

See this other thread... The pool is currently closed. Aly will start posting info in the UALR pool availability once she receives word that the construction is complete.

Russ, there will be a roll clinic at Rendezvous. If you're free the 18th-20th join us at Camp Couchdale for a big time.
