I've come across a wenonah solo canoe .I'm told it's in great shape, no repairs but it'd older. Anyone have a ballpark value they'd be willing to pay? Tried looking online and can't find much .

We paid $460 for my wife's Wenonah Sandpiper solo canoe and we paid $300 for my 1998 Mohawk Solo 14 ... Both were purchased in 2013.

Hi Jim, Thanks! I be been in the background for a few years now. Sadly have only been on the water once or twice in the last 4. Want to do more with my newfamily...long story.

Sig, Thanks forthew information. This boat is 16.5 ft. That's not a recreational length for theslow rivers around here, is it?Isorry for the questions. I know nothing about solos but paddled in one on th Buff and fell in love. But it was shorter than a regular canoe. They are asking $200.

I have purchased a couple used canoes since my GC accident. One in perfect condition a year old and the other with some damage and really sun faded.

I am super happy with both.

Wenonah is one of the better canoe manufacturers (my opinion here) and if given minimal care last many years.

My Winonah Rendezvous cost me 400 bucks a few years ago. I did the clean up and repair and that boat is one of my favorites. Now stored under cover upside down on sawhorses, I expect it to last till my knees give out.

Unless that winonah has been severely abused or improperly stored, 200 bucks is a good deal at least in my opinion.

Lots more canoe experience than mine on this message board, but if you do not want that boat, email me the location!!!!

Yeah, I can't imagine it not being worth $200 unless it's been severely damaged.

Thanks, everyone. I went ahead and bought it. Still don't know anything about it, but it looks solid and will allow me to canoe with my dogs, so I'll be happy with it I'm sure. It's pretty long, so we will see how it works on the river when I find time to get back on one.

Just curious, do you know the Winonah model / name of the solo canoe?
