I am not an expert by a long shot
but
I am a long time kayaker and boater

If this is true, it goes against every thing I have seen in kayaking/boating all these years or all the people I have boated with ......

Makes me sick to my stomach to think a boater would would refuse to help a fellow boater and actually push them off with a paddle ------ no matter what relationship these two had

sad sad deal

Not to worry Okieboater, doesn't sound like she was a boater.
She was just someone with a boat.
There is a big difference........

However, The guy wasn't wearing a wet suit, dry suit, or pfd. Any of these could have saved his life.

There's A LOT more to this story. These were not boaters and this was no accident. Authorities are still sorting it out but she has stated that she wanted him dead and has confessed to tampering with his boat.

If removing a drain plug is an attempt at murder, then I'm guilty of a few.
