Jackson kayaks 2007

Noah and I have been wanting to try some whitewater surfing at the ledge. Not sure if either of us will actually enjoy that much of a rush. Camp bighorn has some used Jackson funs at a decent price, but they are model year 2007. Are these obsolete or would they be a good trial boat. According to our weights, they have one for each of us. Advice? Suggestions? As always, thanks for the help.

Not even close to obsolete as long as in decent condition. My main boat is a lime green 2007 4Fun :) I can't recommend the Fun series any higher.

Thanks for the response. I'm going to give them a call and make sure they still have them. Good price, and they state "great condition". They will probably be sold quite quickly.
Thanks for the input. I just wanted to make sure that they weren't totally outdated.

I prefer the 2004-2006 model if I'm being honest. But that's just me..

I was on "boatertalk" and there was a section listing several funs and 2funs. When you click the link, it sends you to Camp Bighorn, a Christian day camp for kids in Montana. All boats listed were $350.00. They ship them via Greyhound bus (a little pricey). We just received our two boats this week. They are in great condition with just a little river rash, no gouges or oil canning. They take very good care of their equipment because it's their business. All employees were quite pleasant. If you are considering giving them a call, you need to ask for Jonny. He is the only one who deals with the selling of boats. They were down to just a few left, and your color choices were yellow and orange. I think they use the brighter colors for safety issues since they are training numerous kids. Now Noah and I have a lot of pool sessions ahead of us. :yahoo:

Sandy, I'm glad it worked out for you. I really look forward to seeing more of you guys on the river this year! Tell Noah he missed seeing Gracie and me paddle giant purple dragons down the Spring.

Deuce,
It's always good to hear from you. I had really wanted to take Noah to River School, but my school year with snow days just wasn't working out. Noah and I are going to float just as much as possible this summer. Caitlin is gearing up for college, but I think that she will try to join in on a few floats too. Hope to see you on a river.
