Kokatat Drysuit Questions

Post by Teaches With Fire » Thu May 14, 2015 10:54 am

HI all, I'm about to pull the trigger on my first drysuit. I'm definitely buying Kokatat and am probably going with the GMER, but I wanted to know if any local paddlers had experience with the Idol before I commit. My main concerns are zipper placement (does it really sit out of the way?) and durability. Thanks.

http://ossystems.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; These people are among the oldest and best rated in the business. 32 years as an industry leader. I'm surprised they get looked over so much. Outside of needing a new latex neck and booties, I couldn't be happier with my 15+ year old surface water suit w/ relief zipper and sprayskirt tunnel. Having said that, I've never known anyone to be so totally pleased with any other brand, bar none. :myday"

I have the Icon and absolutely love it. The rear entry is fantastic also not have a zipper across your chest is pretty nice. It has more cordura than the gmer but i feel it make it runs a little on the warm side. "or it is just me i hate being hot". But the GMER is the industry standard.
My Favorite River is the one that I'm paddling.
