Trouble at Turner Bend?

Just saw on Channel 5 Web site that Hiway 23 is closed at Turner Bend due to bridge damage.

I crossed the bridge about 2PM yesterday and it was working fine. The road had been closed for a while yesterday morning when the river crested ~17' as there was some water flowing over it just north of the bridge. If there's a problem with the bridge now it must have happened later in the day. Of course, Channel 5 may have just sensationalized it for maximum effect...
