NW Chapter Meeting June 1st @ 6:30

As we mentioned earlier in May, our monthly meeting will be held Monday June 1st @ 6:30. We are postponed it for a week so that it was not held on Memorial Day. We will meet at our normal location, Foghorns across the street from Baum Stadium.

As always, we will discuss old business from the past month and trip reports. We have a lot of new business we will discuss, Week of Rivers, JFK Memorial Rock, Instructor & Treasurers reports, OMTC Demo Days, Pint Night, Junior Olympics, and various other topics. This meeting we will hold our annual chapter elections for President, VP, & Treasurer.

IMPORTANT: if you are a NW Chapter member that attended a course at this years School of Whitewater Paddling, come to this meeting and you will have an opportunity to receive a JFK Scholarship. The JFK Scholarship will cover the entire registration cost of the course. We have two to give out. These scholarships were graciously donated by Jon Kennedy's family. See me or Tracy before the meeting to get your name thrown into the hat.

Our meetings provide a great opportunity to meet other local paddlers and to learn about float trips. Water is up and people are paddling all the time!
