South Fouche Lafave Monday 4/20/15
I'll be at the Highway 7 bridge at 11 a.m. If my canoe is locked-up at the campground, I'm running shuttle and will return. Please post if your coming. BOB

Chicago Bob - I hope you have a nice day out there today. I went with a few friends yesterday, otherwise I would be more inclined to go today. A friend got bit by a venomous snake at the take-out around 3:45. After a visit to the ER in Morrilton, fluids and observation, she was released around 9:15. It made for a pretty long day. For those of you who know Dump Truck, he deserves a lot of credit and thanks for helping out with the situation. Overall, it was still a great day. We dubbed it Pollen Float 2015. I've never seen more pollen in the sky!

Snake bites, pollen, sorry you didn't have a better day. I gave up my trip due to high winds. I'll try again on Thursday and hope not to meet the snake. Sorry Debo! BOB

We saw the same "pollen event", on the lower Mulberry Sunday. You could see clouds of pollen rising above the valley. The water was full of it in the eddies. "Tree Mating Season". Pretty neat to see for those of us without allergies. - M-
