Sorry, I "got ahead "of myself last nite.
I can't remember the tribes coming out this early. Pine Mtn was aglow.
I also have a Ft. Smith news paper article that says the Ft. Smith water supply is "drought proof".
It has been fading in my Baever Pond window for a while now but this will give impetus to send it your way. The article certainly shoots holes in the "Desparate need for water" scenerio!

Well good! I recently heard a rumor that there was going to be another attempt on Lee Creek. I heard it from someone connected to the Sierra Club in Oklahoma. I hope that is not true. The newspaper article will be good evidence that a dam is unnessessary.

I want to see the authorities research the deep well option in the Arkansas River valley. Seems like a great option to me.

Isn't there a municipality in central Arkansas that has developed this option?
