Okay could not get the interest in doing the lower section so here is the plan for tomorrow.
Meet at HWY 65 at 11:30 and we will arrange the shuttle from there to pinnacle springs and then we will be running the section 2 times for those that want to.
Anyone coming from LR if you want to carpool with me I will be leaving about 10:30 am 4 open spaces in my truck for people and boats.

Its likely that Carl and I will be there tomorrow too. We were looking at doing the upper. It might be cool to combine the two if that's possible.

That would be about 16 miles I think, we would have to start very early. I am up for that but I would say we should be in the water about 10am maybe a little sooner. I am up for running anything I have not had a chance to get out this season until this weekend. I had personal issues but they moved out.

David and Jay,
You all have a good time, I'm just envious thinking about all the good floats on both sections I've had over the years. The current level is pretty high compared to most of my trips when it was in the 3ft. range on the lower and 3-3 1/2ft range on the upper, so I know you'll move along at a good clip. Just floating the lower trip could be good if you bring fried chicken along for a lengthy lunch, and a couple of breaks to stretch

The bluff scenery on the lower stretch is just the best.
Best Regards
Jim

if you combine the upper and the lower (meaning put in at pinnacle springs bridge), I don't think it will be quite 16 miles. maybe closer to 13.

Okay sounds good what time do we want to meet? I was thinking just meet at the Hwy 65 put in and we can play musical cars from there. I can fit 4 to 5 kayaks on my truck and all the gear in back and I can hold 4 other people beside myself.

Dave,
Sorry to get back to you so late. Just got off the pinnacle springs run.
The guys I was originally going with can't do the whole thing. We are talking about just the pinnacle springs run. Though I want to do the lower section. Is there much whitewater on it? Give me a call tonight or tomorrow morning and we will talk

Okay here is what the plan might be for tomorrow. Meet at HWY 65 landing at about 11:00 11:30 then either do the upper part 2 times or do the lower section once. Still waiting to hear back from some people. I will be awake until about midnight and I will be awake about 6-7am. Anyone coming from LR if you want to ride with me give me a call.
