Upper Caddo River Trip for Sunday the 15th (Changed to Monda

The weather is looking fairly nice on Sunday, and the Caddo, at nearly 10' this evening, may fall back to a good level by then. Possible meeting time about 10:30ish to 10:45 at the downstream side of the Hwy 70 bridge at Glenwood to decide on a section above, and set shuttle. Cold water/weather equipment and good boat-handling skills required, this is a leaderless outing.

Hannah and I could do tomorrow if we started at 10ish. I know the forecast is iffy. I gotta be somewhere in El Do at 6:00. SO I would need to be on the road by 3:00.

The river looks like it might be back around 8' in the morning. If Saturday is best for you guys, I'd go for it. I have stuff to do tomorrow, so it's Sunday or Monday for me if I go at all. If you do go, give us a report later.

You wanting to do Norman to Caddo Gap or Caddo Gap to Glenwood? I'm gonna start a thread for a trip tomorrow.

Caddo already down to 7.8'. it'll be under 7' tomorrow. We missed the window for an above the gap float.

Friends,
I have a fairly good record of posting my floating plans and going on with it, but think I'll try and float on the Upper Caddo on Monday now, rather than tomorrow. Everything else applies, meeting at the Glenwood Bridge on Monday about 10:30ish.
I am hopeful the level will still be in the 6.30ft range and we might have enough water to go on up to Norman to float down to the Caddo Gap area.

Hey Steve,
Dave & I were thinking about doing the Norman to Caddo Gap float tomorrow. We'd be glad to work out shuttle & paddle together if that works for you. We're pretty flexible about timing, etc. so whenever is best for you.
