Question about Fisher Ford
I've been to the ford a few times and have always wondered... Can you continue downstream from the ford? Is it floatable? Are there any take out points easily accessed?
Re: Question about Fisher Ford
All of the land downstream is private.
It is not crossed by public roads for three miles of flat but moving water.
AR 59 is the first road with access.
59 outfitters has a camp/access at the bridge.
They will rent you boats and/or run shuttle for a price.
Parking used to be free but I have heard he is charging now.
Next access is another 3 miles just over the OK border at Lake Francis.....

Re: Question about Fisher Ford
There's a really nice bluff, between the park and AR59. No other rapids, but a nice float.
