Hi Folks,

I am gauging interest from the ACC membership to see if any of our SUP paddlers would be interested in having the opportunity to become ACA certified SUP instructors. We (ACC) are considering having Anna Levesque come to Arkansas and offer this program sometime in the spring, but we would need to see that there is enough interest before pursuing it.

Johnnie told me last night, that she is very interrested in this SUP IDW/ICE. Depending on the dates it will be held.

I'm trying to help out by getting a head count on who is wanting to take part on this great opportunity . We do not have a date yet. But this is a good time to get a solid list to help Tom schedule this course for us & the ACC this summer.

The course, which will be held Oct. 28-30 at Camp Couchdale and taught by Anna Levesque, is currently full, but we are creating a standby list. Please contact me at swiftwaterrescue@gmail.com if you are interested in being on that list.

This was a awesome course ! Thank you ACC for bringing this course to Arkansas ! I look forward to help new SUP paddlers get on the water having fun.
If you're not a member of the ACC you should seriously rethink it & join ! Also join our groups on the river, take courses & get involved with our river community. You will not regret it, in fact you will thank me for introducing you to your new river family.
