Mulberry Christmas!!

Float the Mulberry Christmas Day 2014! This should be a very nice float at a great time of year! We usally see a few eagles & waves on these wintertime floats. We will be meeting at Turner Bend at 10 am Christmas morning (the 25th) then decide which section we will float at that time.
if the levels don't work out at the Mulberry, there are two alternatives for this float. Final decision will be made & posted on here Christmas eve. The 1st option, Frog Bayou, will Be chosen if its levels are better than the Mulberry. The 2nd option is THE FORD if both the Mulberry & Frog Bayou aren't floatable. In that case, we will be meeting at the Siloam Springs kayak park at 11 am.
Remember, this is a leaderless group of common adventures and everyone is responsible for their boats, equipment & their own personal safety. Thermal protection will be necessary as right now, as the weather is showing the high will be a balmy 50 degrees, yet the water will be much colder. If anyone has any questions about what to wear, please post here way before this trip. We have very friendly members that have extra gear. That being said, please make sure your skill level is appropriate for this trip. We can expect class two rapids with a few obstacles.
This will be a great trip to float together and end the year with good friends who are, at times, like a second family. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and and many blessings in the coming year!
